Implied Odds
The ratio of the total amount you expect to win (including future bets) to the cost of the current call. Implied odds extend the concept of pot odds by factoring in potential future winnings. Drawing hands with good implied odds justify calls that pot odds alone would not support, because completing your draw may win a large pot on later streets.
Example
You have a set of twos on the flop and your opponent has a full stack behind. Even though the pot is small now, if you hit a full house you could win their entire stack — the implied odds justify a call.
