Win Rate
A measure of how much you win per unit of play over time. In cash games, win rate is expressed in big blinds per 100 hands (bb/100). In tournaments, it is measured by ROI (return on investment). Win rate is the ultimate measure of poker proficiency but requires a large sample size (50,000+ hands minimum) to be statistically meaningful.
Example
After 200,000 hands at $0.50/$1 online, your win rate is 4.5bb/100. That is a solid, sustainable edge that puts you in the top 15% of players at this stake.
