Moving Up Stakes

Transitioning to a higher buy-in level as your bankroll grows. Moving up stakes is a natural progression for winning players. The general rule is to move up when you have enough buy-ins for the next level and have demonstrated a consistent win rate at your current level. Higher stakes generally mean tougher competition.

Example

After consistently beating 0.005/0.01 BTC for 50,000 hands at 6bb/100, you move up to 0.01/0.02 BTC. You have a 30 buy-in bankroll for the new level.
