ITM (In the Money)
Finishing a tournament in a position that pays prize money. ITM percentage is the rate at which a player cashes in tournaments. A typical ITM rate for skilled players is 15-20% in standard tournaments. While ITM rate is useful, it does not tell the full story since deep runs and final tables contribute disproportionately to profits.
Example
Out of 200 tournaments played, you have cashed in 44 of them — a 22% ITM rate. The average field pays about 15%, so you are significantly outperforming.
