Polarized Range
A betting range consisting of very strong hands (value) and weak hands (bluffs), with few medium-strength hands. Polarized ranges are common in river betting situations where you either have a hand strong enough to bet for value or a hand weak enough that bluffing is the only way to win. GTO theory prescribes polarized ranges in many spots.
Example
On the river, you bet 150% pot. This bet size only makes sense with the nuts or a bluff — your range is polarized, meaning you either have the best hand or nothing.
