Re-Raise

To raise after another player has already raised. A re-raise (also called a three-bet when it's the third bet in a sequence) signals significant hand strength and puts maximum pressure on opponents. Re-raising is a key tool for building pots with premium hands and for bluffing against wide opening ranges.

Example

Player A opens to $6, Player B raises to $18, and you look down at A♠A♥. You re-raise to $52, putting maximum pressure on both opponents.
