Squeeze Play

A large re-raise made after an initial raise and one or more callers. The squeeze play exploits the fact that the callers have shown a capped range by only calling, making them likely to fold to significant aggression. It is named after the pressure it puts on the original raiser who is 'squeezed' between the re-raiser and the callers.

Example

An aggressive player opens, and a weaker player calls. You squeeze to 4x the open from the big blind with A♠T♦, expecting both players to fold most of the time.
