Three-Bet
The third bet in a sequence: a re-raise of an opening raise. In modern poker, three-betting is a fundamental aggressive action used both for value with premium hands and as a bluff with suitable hands. Three-bet frequency (3B%) is a key HUD stat that reveals how aggressively a player defends and attacks.
Example
An aggressive player opens to 2.5x from the cutoff. You 3-bet to 8x from the button with A♦K♠ — a standard re-raise size to isolate them preflop.
